Returns Policy

We want to assure that every item you purchase is the perfect match for you! Almost every item is can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Our return policy may differ depending on the product that was purchased and whether or not you are a Registered InSideOut Member at the time of purchase. All Registered InSideOut Members at the time of purchase will receive free return shipping within 14 days of delivery. Please see the specific product category return policy for specific details and exclusions. 

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Return Policy For Planters:

  • Planters Are Not Damaged: If you are an InSideOut Member, at the time of purchase, all planters include free return shipping within 14 days upon delivery. If you would like to return your planter within 14 days please contact us. InSideOut will provide you with a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product.*
    • For planters purchased over 14 days ago: These purchases can still be returned, however, the planter must be returned unused, undamaged, and the customer will be responsible for all return shipping charges. 
  • Damaged Planter During Shipping: InSideOut carefully packs every planter to avoid breakage during shipping. However, we understand that the shipping process is not always friendly to every package. If the planter arrives damaged, please take a picture(s) of the defective planter and submit your request return within 3 days upon receiving your package. Our InSideOut Customer Support Team will reach out to you within 1 business day.

Return Policy For Indoor Plants:

  •  All indoor plants come with a 14-Day Satisfaction Guaranteed! If your indoor plant does not exceed your expectations, you can return the indoor plant within the 14 days upon receiving it for a full refund! If you would like to return your indoor plant please submit your return request. InSideOut will provide you with a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product.*

 Return Policy For Garden Hoses:

  • For all returns regarding garden hoses that are not defective, please submit a return request. InSideOut will provide a prepaid shipping label on all hoses purchased within 14 days. For returns that occur outside of the 14 day free return period, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges. For a full refund, all returned hoses must be returned unused, undamaged, and in original selling condition. Hoses that are returned used, damaged, or not in their original selling condition will receive a partial refund.
  • For defective hoses that occur within 90 of purchase please file a return request here. For all defective hoses, InSideOut requires a picture of the hose with the ends cut off to assure that the hose has been out of use before a refund can be authorized.
  • For all defective hoses that occurred outside of 90 days after delivery, you must file a warranty claim. For all warranty claims, you will receive a refund in the form of a universal Visa gift card. 

*All returns must be returned in the same box, using the same protective packaging to avoid breakage. If the product is damaged during the return shipping, due to insufficient packaging materials, the customer may receive a partial refund, or no refund at all. InSideOut reserves the right to deny any refund or partial refund if the stated requirements aren't met.

All orders includes free shipping, unless otherwise stated. We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

2. I need to cancel/change my order. All orders can be cancelled/changed before they are shipped. If you need to adjust your order please contact us immediately. 

3. How long does it take to ship my order? All orders are fulfilled and shipped with 2 business days. Typically all orders will be delivered to your location within 2-5 business days. 

4. How do I care for my plants? All plants are shipped with a plant care card that provides instructions on how to keep your plants healthy & thriving. For specific plant care details visit our Plant Care Tips page.

5. What if my order arrives damaged? Every plant is fragile and the shipping process is not always kind (or easy). Every plant is hand packaged with the necessary protective packaging materials. 99% of the time your plants will arrive in perfect condition. What if I receive a damaged plant? When that happens, we fix it – be it a damaged plant or pot due to shipping carrier mishandling. Please inspect your package when you receive your delivery and contact us. An InSideOut Customer Service Representative will reach out to you within 1 business day with further instructions.
