Return Policy

We want to assure that every item you purchase is the perfect match for you! Almost every item is can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Our return policy may differ depending on the product that was purchased. You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Return Policy For Planters:

  • Planters Are Not Damaged: All planters include free return shipping within 14 days upon delivery. If you would like to return your planter within 14 days please contact us. InSideOut will provide you with a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product.*
    • For planters purchased over 14 days ago: These purchases can still be returned. However, the planter must be returned unused, undamaged, and the customer will be responsible for all return shipping charges. 
  • Damaged Planter During Shipping: InSideOut carefully packs every planter to avoid breakage during shipping. However, we understand that the shipping process is not always friendly to every package. If the planter arrives damaged, please take a picture(s) of the defective planter and submit your request return within 3 days upon receiving your package. Our InSideOut Customer Support Team will reach out to you within 1 business day.

Return Policy For Indoor Plants:

  •  All indoor plants come with a 14-Day Satisfaction Guaranteed! If your indoor plant does not exceed your expectations, you can return the indoor plant within the 14 days upon receiving it for a full refund! If you would like to return your indoor plant please submit your return request. InSideOut will provide you with a prepaid shipping label for you to return the product.*

 Return Policy For Garden Hoses:

  • For all returns regarding garden hoses that are not defective, please submit a return request. InSideOut will provide a prepaid shipping label on all hoses purchased within 14 days. For returns that occur outside of the 14 day free return period, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges. For a full refund, all returned hoses must be returned unused, undamaged, and in original selling condition. Hoses that are returned used, damaged, or not in their original selling condition will receive a partial refund.
  • For defective hoses that occur within 90 of purchase please file a return request here. For all defective hoses, InSideOut requires a picture of the hose with the ends cut off to assure that the hose has been out of use before a refund can be authorized.
  • For all defective hoses that occurred outside of 90 days after delivery, you must file a warranty claim. For all warranty claims, you will receive a refund in the form of a universal Visa gift card. 

*All returns must be returned in the same box, using the same protective packaging to avoid breakage. If the product is damaged during the return shipping, due to insufficient packaging materials, the customer may receive a partial refund, or no refund at all. InSideOut reserves the right to deny any refund or partial refund if the stated requirements aren't met.

I've been gardening off and on for many years, and bonsai had always been on the bucket list, so I decided it was time to give it a try. I'm just starting out...in fact, only a couple weeks in. So far I've had 5 of the 8 species germinate. Unfortunately, my progress has become halted a bit because of a fungus gnats issue (Realized I had overwatered a different plant I've had for some time. Not doing that again)
So, while I got my seedlings, which are doing great,, all those that hadn't grown yet had to be tossed. So I'm starting over with the seeds I have left.

I was going to hold this review off a bit longer but I've had such a pleasant and refreshing experience with the customer service of this company, that I felt they deserved my support now. The best customer service I've ever received, actually.

As for the product, all the seeds I received were in great shape, and as I mentioned earlier, was getting a great germination rate considering I didn't stratify those that needed to be, although I am now, just to be safe. I feel more patient now that I have seedlings to take care of...lol

They give you enough seeds that you can actually try planting some, and preparing some, if you'd like. Some of the other sellers didn't seem to offer a good amount of seeds, which is partially why I chose this company.

With all the companies out there, it can truly be hit or miss. Kinda feel like I hit the jackpot, in terms of the company I chose to purchase from.

This whole bonsai thing has got me geeked out...harnessing the wonder and awe of our giant wooden friends, but in a pot....not to mention getting to observe their growth from seed. The whole thing is just pretty cool, imo. I hope your experience is as good as mine has been so far, in this short time frame (minus the gnats).

appearance of product was intact and exactly as displayed in the photo. It is a great gift for a person who has experience with bonsai but even for a beginner because it comes with support and you can register your seeds and they will send a back up if none of your seeds germinated. However, this kit does not have bonsai potting soil, nor pots to place the seeds into. It comes with just the seeds and wood stakes to mark your seeds after potting. I haven't grown mine yet because I haven't purchased the pots or soils, but i do look forward to. I've grown bonsais from seed before.

Super stoked to watch these grow!

It comes in a cute little wooden box with a lid that slides off. It comes with eight packs of Bonsai tree seeds. It's a nice variety of different types, some I've never seen before. Super excited to watch them grow! It also comes with little wooden stakes for each type of tree.

Overall, I'm very happy with the kit and will update my review with photos once they start growing!
